CLSB

3 Blackfan Circle

The Center for Life Sciences Building (CLSB) was built in 2008 and is certified LEED Gold (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). This was the area’s first privately developed, for-lease, biomedical research center, designed by Tsoi/Kobus & Associates and developed by Lyme Properties. The 700,000 square foot lab building is leased to various LMA institutions including Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston Children’s Hospital, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and Harvard’s Wyss Institute. Through collaboration, these institutions develop biologically inspired materials and devices that help solve critical medical and environmental problems and  translate these transformative technologies into products that have an impact on society and the world.
